Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and a product manager, supporting their professional development and helping them navigate technical and career challenges.
- Define and guide the technical vision for cross-platform React Native apps and native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) BLE SDKs, ensuring sound architectural decisions and awareness of platform updates.
- Develop and maintain a results-driven product roadmap that aligns with organizational goals, integrates with other platform teams, and is clearly communicated across departments.
- Oversee full-cycle project management, including scope definition, timeline execution, expectation setting, and regular updates to internal and external partners.
- Foster a collaborative team environment where learning is shared, failures are treated as growth opportunities, and quality and accountability are consistently upheld.
- Maintain equilibrium between immediate delivery goals and long-term system sustainability, avoiding both excessive complexity and accumulating technical debt.
- Design and improve engineering workflows that enable efficient, repeatable, and maintainable development practices within a regulated product context.

Manages seven direct reports, including engineers and a product manager, with one additional individual contributor role planned. Reports to the VP of Platform.
