Oversee end-to-end operations as the primary leader for a manufacturing site and the broader DFM (Design for Manufacturing) business function. This role is responsible for aligning engineering, production, and supply chain teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily site operations, focusing on productivity, cost control, and adherence to safety and compliance standards
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate manufacturability into product design processes
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to yield, cycle time, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D to ensure designs support scalable, cost-effective manufacturing
- Manage talent development, performance, and organizational planning for operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations leadership, including direct management of teams and capital projects. Proven success in implementing design-for-manufacturing principles and improving production scalability is essential.
Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills are required to influence stakeholders across functions and regions.
