Lead the evolution of cash-plus programming by designing and scaling coaching models that amplify the long-term impact of large cash transfers. This role sits at the intersection of behavioral science, digital innovation, and poverty alleviation, with responsibility for shaping a scalable, recipient-centered coaching strategy across diverse operational contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and pilot coaching interventions in partnership with country teams, embedding them within active cash transfer programs
- Develop modular, evidence-based coaching components—ranging from digital literacy to savings behavior and market linkages—that can be layered onto cash delivery
- Collaborate with external partners including NGOs, edutainment creators, and technology vendors to adapt and integrate proven content and delivery methods
- Lead the creation of digital tools such as AI-driven chatbots, video-based learning, and tablet-delivered curricula tailored for low-literacy, low-connectivity environments
- Translate behavioral insights into practical, scalable systems—balancing program intensity with operational feasibility
- Define technical specifications for digital products in coordination with internal tech teams and external developers
- Establish repeatable protocols for in-person touchpoints, community messaging, and analog adaptations of digital tools
- Manage vendor relationships from concept through rollout, overseeing contracts, budgets, and performance
- Drive rapid experimentation and evaluation in partnership with research teams to generate actionable evidence
- Represent the organization in global conversations on digital coaching, economic inclusion, and cost-effective graduation pathways
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must bring 8–10 years of experience in economic inclusion, graduation, or cash-plus programming, with a demonstrated ability to scale digital coaching solutions. Deep familiarity with behavioral science, digital learning platforms, and low-tech delivery channels (e.g., WhatsApp, IVR) is essential. Strong project management skills are required to coordinate across global teams, vendors, and field operations.
Fluency in English is required; French is a plus. Experience co-developing programs with governments or multilateral agencies is valued, as is familiarity with agile, iterative product development.
