Vertex is hiring a Senior Manager, Business Product Owner (Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Convert high-level business goals into actionable capabilities, operational frameworks, requirements, and user narratives, ensuring clear communication to digital technology and engineering partners.
  • Ensure digital initiatives align with and support complete business workflows across supply chain and related areas.
  • Develop forward-looking operational frameworks that enhance efficiency, visibility, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Lead global, cross-functional sessions to define future business processes, operating models, and required capabilities.
  • Foster alignment among supply chain, manufacturing, quality assurance, MSAT, commercial operations, digital technology/engineering, and other units with diverse priorities.
  • Support business leadership in decision-making and resolve cross-organizational challenges related to processes, data, and governance.
  • Secure formal approval of business processes, operating models, and functional requirements before execution begins.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing with digital partners, validate business readiness, and obtain official sign-off.
  • Assist in deployment planning, implementation preparedness, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to ensure delivered solutions meet defined business needs and expectations.
