Responsibilities
- Design and oversee configuration management systems like Rundeck and ManageEngine to enable secure and efficient server administration across the enterprise.
- Establish, document, and enforce policies, configurations, and compliance benchmarks for Linux-based servers.
- Build and maintain standardized server configuration profiles, deploy applications, and manage updates to ensure uniformity and current software versions.
- Monitor server provisioning, application rollouts, and policy adherence while diagnosing and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Work with IT departments and key stakeholders to shape and sustain a strategic approach to server management aligned with industry best practices.
- Support the creation and upkeep of detailed documentation for configuration management tools, including policies and operational workflows.
