Onapsis is hiring a Senior Legal Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assess, and negotiate supplier contracts on a global scale, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Create, evaluate, and finalize various commercial tech agreements with clients, including non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, software orders, and master licensing or services agreements for on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop, examine, and negotiate technology contracts with business partners, such as managed security service agreements, reseller arrangements, and subcontracting contracts.
  • Work with legal and business teams to align contract revisions and negotiation tactics, clearly communicating legal risks and business impacts.
  • Perform detailed contract reviews to identify gaps, interpret language, assess risks, and advocate for internal legal positions on standard and third-party templates.
  • Support the creation, management, and updates of contract templates and checklists within the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system and legal repositories.
  • Partner with departments such as human resources, finance, product, and information security to align legal activities with organizational goals.
  • Manage and enhance the electronic contract database, ensuring accurate documentation and accessibility of all commercial agreements.
  • Keep comprehensive records of contracts and legal inquiries, producing regular reports on contract status and critical terms.
  • Evaluate customer contracts for legal and compliance risks, flagging policy deviations and liability concerns for internal review and resolution.
  • Monitor contract progress and lifecycle stages, collaborating with stakeholders to refine processes and reduce processing times.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at improving legal operations efficiency, including workflow design and process automation.
  • Support international corporate legal matters, including oversight of subsidiaries and adherence to global regulations.
  • Assist in managing the organization’s global insurance program, covering renewals, claims, and risk evaluations.
  • Support the maintenance and growth of the company’s global intellectual property portfolio, including patents and trademarks.
