About the Role
This position is responsible for leading Symfony development efforts, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality delivery of backend systems in a distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Symfony-based applications
- Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture
- Ensure code quality through reviews and testing practices
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems and processes
- Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries and services
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Enforce coding standards and best practices
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Drive adoption of modern development tools and frameworks
- Monitor production environments for stability and performance
- Contribute to security improvements and compliance efforts
- Assist in refining technical roadmaps and project timelines
