What You'll Do
Take ownership of a key mobile application used across Europe, driving its transformation from the ground up. You'll analyze the current codebase and architecture, identifying opportunities to improve stability, performance, and scalability. Your work will include redefining core structural components and implementing new functionality that enhances user engagement and transaction efficiency.
Guide internal developers through technical challenges, sharing best practices and promoting strong mobile engineering standards. You'll act as both a hands-on builder and a strategic advisor, ensuring the application evolves to meet growing user demands and long-term business goals.
Requirements
- Extensive background in React Native with a focus on mobile-only development
- Demonstrated success in evaluating and refactoring mobile application architectures
- Proven ability to scale applications under increasing load and feature complexity
- Solid grasp of UX/UI considerations in mobile contexts
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience mentoring or coaching development teams is highly valued
Work Mode
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite in Tienen. The remaining days can be worked remotely, offering flexibility while maintaining team alignment.
