About the Role
This position is responsible for managing engineering projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, timelines, and business goals. The individual will lead project teams, coordinate across departments, and apply engineering principles to develop and improve systems and products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project schedules and track progress against established timelines
- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for project-related matters
- Apply engineering expertise to troubleshoot and resolve design and production challenges
- Oversee the development and validation of engineering deliverables
- Facilitate design reviews, technical assessments, and change management processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to support product scalability
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution methods and engineering practices
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on project tasks
- Prepare and present project status updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to configuration management standards
- Support product certification and regulatory submission processes
- Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for integration into project workflows
- Manage vendor and supplier engineering interactions as needed
- Promote a culture of innovation, safety, and quality within project teams
