Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to assess system requirements and enhance automation, reliability, and resilience across IAM platforms.
- Lead efforts to strengthen the performance and availability of IAM applications by streamlining processes, establishing standardized patterns, eliminating ad-hoc solutions, and improving service robustness and security.
- Manage incident response for operational issues and advocate for sustainable fixes and system upgrades to boost stability and reliability of IAM infrastructure.
- Guide IAM development teams in adopting proven technologies, workflows, and industry best practices to strengthen solution quality, scalability, and uptime.
- Anticipate future challenges and drive proactive system designs that embed operational excellence from inception.
- Offer expert guidance and direct support across product teams to troubleshoot deployment and operations problems while prioritizing customer impact reduction.
- Engage in the full lifecycle of feature development—including design, coding, testing, and deployment—with emphasis on post-launch support.
- Advance operational processes and automation frameworks to drive continuous improvements in production systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies through experimentation, active community engagement, and mentoring peers within the engineering organization.
- Promote innovation, inclusive collaboration, creative problem-solving, team autonomy, and diverse perspectives.
- Use scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Ruby, and Groovy, along with containerization tools like Docker and ECS, configuration management systems like Ansible and Terraform, and various AWS services.
