About the Role
This position leads the development, review, and negotiation of contracts across diverse business units, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with organizational objectives while serving as a key advisor to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract negotiation processes for domestic and international clients
- Draft, review, and finalize complex commercial agreements in compliance with legal standards
- Serve as primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal and external parties
- Collaborate with legal, sales, and procurement teams to align contract terms with business goals
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all agreements
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks through proactive analysis and consultation
- Maintain contract documentation and tracking systems for accuracy and audit readiness
- Support cross-border transactions requiring bilingual communication in Spanish and English
- Advise stakeholders on contractual obligations, liabilities, and performance expectations
- Drive standardization of contract templates and negotiation playbooks
- Manage escalations related to contract disputes or performance issues
- Coordinate with finance and compliance teams on contractual deliverables and reporting
- Monitor contract performance and renewal timelines to ensure continuity
- Provide training to business units on contract processes and best practices
- Liaise with external counsel when specialized legal input is required
- Ensure data privacy and security clauses are appropriately integrated
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through contract due diligence
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international contract law developments
- Promote consistency in language and terms across multilingual agreements
- Optimize contract turnaround time without compromising quality or compliance
