AHOY is hiring a Senior Jira Expert - Software Integrator

We are seeking a Senior Jira Expert - Software Integration Specialist to join our Integrators Consulting team in Cairo, Egypt, focusing on Enterprise Implementation Environments (Banking, Telecommunications, Aviation, Government sectors) with primary emphasis on Atlassian and Jira-related initiatives. Responsibilities: · Deploy Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management & associated Atlassian solutions as comprehensive platforms including Collaboration Systems, Tracking Mechanisms, Agile Project Management, SDLC/ALM, DevOps, Task Coordination, and additional functionalities. · Establish & Synchronize Jira & complementary Atlassian products with Client infrastructure. · Deliver Customer Support through on-site or remote channels with superior Service Quality across Atlassian Products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.). · Engage proactively with Developers & Technical Analysts at Infosysta to accomplish client project deliverables. · Maintain accountability for exceptional Service Quality and Client satisfaction. · Gather functional and technical requirements from Clients and document technical specifications. · Implement, configure, and execute various tools integrated with Jira & Confluence. · Perform Functional & Technical administration of Jira and Confluence. · Analyze log files, manage documentation, and extract relevant problem insights. · Oversee Testing & validation as Quality Assurance for Infosysta Products & Add-ons. · Generate comprehensive summary reports & Meeting Minutes with clear action strategies. · Execute additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate. · Perform SQL debugging across Databases (Oracle, MSSQL or MySQL). Desired Skills & Experience: · Software Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor's degree. · Minimum 2 years experience as Java Developer and Enterprise Systems Implementer. · Advanced Jira administration and implementation expertise. · Business Process engineering capabilities. Proficiency in designing ALM / SDLC / ITSM / BPM workflows. · Technical competencies: Active Directory, Linux, Web Applications, Database Servers. · Programming skills in Java, REST APIs and Web Services. · Scripting proficiency (Shell, command line windows, etc.). · Adaptable for high-efficiency remote or on-site work. · ITIL certification preferred. · PMP certification advantageous. · Outstanding Communication Skills. English language proficiency in written and verbal communication. · Self-Managed with Project Management capabilities to operate independently or collaboratively. · Customer-focused with comprehensive understanding of milestone deliverables and Service Level Agreements. · Rapid adaptability across diverse short-term projects. · Motivated to integrate within dynamic team environments. · Agile methodology knowledge in Kanban / Scrum considered beneficial. · Willingness to travel to GCC on project assignments.
