Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java (17) / Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party REST APIs, including model mapping, contract versioning, and deserialization.
- Write unit and integration tests and maintain solid test coverage.
- Work on error handling, structured logging, and observability.
- Participate in code reviews and propose architecture and quality improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience integrating third-party services.
- Testing discipline: JUnit, integration tests, CI management.
- Proficiency with Gradle (or Maven), Git, and working in large codebases.
- Professional English, spoken and written (distributed team, async communication).
Nice to Have
- Experience with observability (OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing).
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience working with US enterprise clients.
