Own and evolve our internal technology foundation as a key contributor in a high-growth environment. This role is central to maintaining and improving the tools, systems, and infrastructure that power daily operations. You’ll ensure reliability, security, and scalability across all internal platforms while championing automation and intelligent workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and optimize the full internal tech stack, including SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Linear, and GitHub, with a focus on integration, uptime, and user experience.
- Support and maintain a macOS-dominant endpoint environment using modern MDM solutions such as Fleet, Jamf, or Kandji.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, access, and network systems—quickly and effectively.
- Design and implement automation scripts and workflows using Go, Python, Bash, or PowerShell to reduce manual effort in IT operations, onboarding, and support.
- Integrate AI-powered tools into daily workflows, evaluate new AI technologies, and help establish best practices for responsible AI use across the organization.
- Administer identity and access management through Okta, Azure AD/Entra, and similar platforms, including SSO, MFA, and access governance—using our own identity platform in production.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance, respond to incidents, manage MDM policies, and maintain a strong security posture.
- Design scalable IT processes that support company growth, from onboarding and offboarding to vendor management and cloud infrastructure oversight.
- Work with external vendors to assess, negotiate, and manage technology services and subscriptions.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 7 years of experience in IT systems engineering, preferably within fast-growing technology or SaaS organizations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale macOS environments and MDM tools.
- Strong background in identity and access management, including hands-on work with Okta, Azure AD/Entra, or Google Workspace Admin.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, with a history of building internal tools to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals—DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, Wi-Fi—and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and take initiative without waiting for direction.
- Clear communication skills, especially when explaining technical topics to non-technical colleagues.
Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, LLMs, or AI-driven operations (AIOps), such as using Copilot or ChatGPT in workflows or building AI automation pipelines.
- Interest in experimenting with emerging AI technologies and applying them to real-world IT challenges.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or GDPR.
- Background in cybersecurity or identity security companies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities.
- Experience with ConductorOne or similar identity governance platforms.
