Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT services, from development and deployment to operational support and retirement.
- Lead governance, strategic planning, and compliance activities for IT service delivery.
- Partner with vendor management and product owners to assess, select, and establish SLAs with internal or external service providers.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of IT projects through proper planning, provider selection, and solution evaluation.
- Facilitate smooth transition from development to operations, ensuring comprehensive documentation for all support levels.
- Establish and maintain operational processes for new or updated IT services.
- Define and maintain service quality metrics and reporting in alignment with service management teams.
- Coordinate daily interactions with service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the service request catalog to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment.
- Own the operational performance of one or more IT services, including KPIs like availability, security, and performance.
- Oversee incident, problem, change, and access management processes in coordination with relevant teams.
- Hold operational accountability for key service management processes across design, transition, or operations.
- Drive continuous service improvement through proactive analysis of incidents and service performance.
- Monitor and validate operational costs, and support budget planning in collaboration with product owners.
- Ensure consistent service delivery in line with SLAs and KPIs.
- Maintain high data quality for services, particularly within the CMDB.
