Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end security projects across multiple teams, managing technical execution and communication with stakeholders
- Create and deploy security controls for cloud platforms, container runtimes, and orchestration layers
- Conduct proactive security assessments of infrastructure changes, offering guidance and flagging potential threats prior to production deployment
- Build standardized, secure design templates and code examples to help development teams implement infrastructure securely and efficiently
- Detect widespread security weaknesses in cloud environments, Kubernetes clusters, and configuration setups, then coordinate fixes across systems
- Collaborate with site reliability, infrastructure, and software engineering groups to embed security into services and CI/CD workflows
- Support and guide engineers in building security expertise and advancing their technical capabilities
- Help shape the team's technical strategy by proposing high-value security enhancements that support organizational goals
- Advance the mission of securing internal infrastructure using the company's own security tools and platforms
