Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Business Services Professional roles in New York and White Plains locations.
- Coordinate internship initiatives and hiring for Legal Practice Assistants.
- Supervise the onboarding and orientation process for newly hired staff.
- Take part in conducting exit interviews to gather employee feedback.
- Act as a point of contact for HR recruitment policies and procedures across the organization.
- Engage in recruiting activities such as strategy development with hiring managers, job advertising, resume screening, interviews, applicant tracking system use, and candidate referrals.
- Use recruitment data and metrics to support hiring objectives and strategic planning.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and achieve competitive hiring targets.
- Proactively collect input from hiring managers on the effectiveness of recruitment methods.
- Manage the offer extension and onboarding workflow, including offer letter preparation and background check review.
- Lead the planning and execution of the summer internship program, including recruitment, orientation, events, and feedback collection.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and nonprofit organizations.
- Direct the Legal Practice Assistant hiring process in New York, coordinating with HR teams in other offices and Paralegal Services leadership.
- Ensure comprehensive new hire orientation covering policies, culture, procedures, and available resources.
- Review, update, and distribute orientation materials as needed.
- Organize and schedule new hire orientation sessions.
- Provide salary recommendations based on candidate qualifications and internal equity standards.
- Work with hiring managers to draft clear and accurate job postings.
- Collaborate to define required knowledge, skills, and abilities for optimal candidate selection.
- Develop and maintain standardized recruitment process documentation, including email templates and communications.
- Train HR team members in New York on recruitment and onboarding procedures.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to HRIS regarding Workday ATS functionality and improvements.
- Maintain connections with external staffing agencies and attend career fairs to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with EEO and OFCCP regulations.
- Pursue ongoing learning to deepen understanding of HR practices and procedures.
