Cobalt is hiring a Senior GTM Systems & Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, management, and performance of the full GTM technology ecosystem, including CRM, marketing automation, customer success tools, data enrichment services, outreach platforms, artificial intelligence applications, and workflow systems.
  • Serve as the main technical authority for system integrations, APIs, webhook operations, data governance, security controls, release coordination, documentation, and uninterrupted system functionality.
  • Develop and refine scalable revenue processes spanning the entire customer journey, from lead intake and pipeline advancement to onboarding, renewals, expansion, routing, lifecycle stages, attribution modeling, and data structure.
  • Assess, deploy, and fine-tune GTM software solutions that deliver clear business value while minimizing operational overhead.
  • Produce and sustain comprehensive documentation for systems, workflows, integrations, business logic, and procedures to support long-term scalability and operational resilience.
  • Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled workflows, agents, and automated processes to reduce manual effort across sales, marketing, customer success, and revenue operations teams.
  • Build intelligent automation tools that streamline seller research, account ranking, CRM maintenance, post-meeting actions, lead distribution, customer interaction, and outbound prospecting.
  • Create event-driven workflows using intent signals, enrichment data, buying triggers, engagement metrics, and AI-generated insights.
  • Research emerging artificial intelligence technologies and assess real-world use cases that enhance productivity, scale, and business performance.
  • Continuously uncover opportunities to reengineer workflows using AI and automation, enabling teams to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Support the development of AI usage standards, governance policies, and organizational adoption strategies within the go-to-market function.
  • Ensure end-to-end data quality across systems, maintaining clean, enriched, deduplicated, and reliable records from source to activation.
  • Develop strategies for data enrichment, identity resolution, and governance to increase data accuracy and completeness.
  • Construct and manage the underlying data infrastructure needed for automation, reporting, forecasting, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data is structured, accessible, and trustworthy for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct automated data audits, enrichment routines, and monitoring to preserve data integrity over time.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and revenue operations leaders to enhance process execution, visibility, and efficiency across the customer lifecycle.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical implementations and quickly prototype and roll out improvements.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on GTM platforms, automation, AI applications, and operational efficiency practices.
  • Manage projects from initial discovery and design through deployment, user adoption, and ongoing optimization.
