Responsibilities
- Lead CRM Audits & Technical Infrastructure Reviews: Conduct advanced audits of CRM setups, including evaluation of user taxonomy, event structure, API integrations, custom attributes, and webhook flows to ensure accurate data flows and scalable architecture.
- Maximize CRM Tool Capabilities: Deeply explore the potential of platforms like Braze, MoEngage, or Iterable to unlock advanced personalization and automation capabilities using custom events, real-time triggers, and dynamic content logic (e.g., Liquid).
- Design and Execute Lifecycle Strategies: Own the planning and execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategies across channels (email, push, in-app, SMS, WhatsApp), aligned to user journeys and growth goals.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with client development and data teams to validate event instrumentation and user segmentation logic, ensuring the right data is available to support targeted and personalised experiences.
- Personalization at Scale: Leverage segmentation frameworks, data-driven journeys, and contextual content to build deeply personalized and dynamic campaigns.
- Drive Experimentation: Design and implement robust A/B and multivariate tests across channels, leveraging behavioral, demographic, and intent data to optimize lifecycle touchpoints.
- Coach and Lead: Mentor Growth Managers and Marketing Consultants, guiding their technical development and strategic thinking.
- Translate Insights into Action: Analyse retention and engagement KPIs, funnel performance, and cohort behaviours using platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Looker, and translate the findings into optimisation plans.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Collaborate with clients to troubleshoot and validate CRM workflows, APIs, webhooks, and marketing data pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation for mobile apps or digital products.
- Strong experience with CRM tools (e.g., Braze, MoEngage, Iterable) including API usage, Liquid logic, webhook setups, and managing custom events/attributes.
- Comfortable performing technical audits and working with product/data teams to validate and evolve user taxonomy, tracking plans, and event schemas.
- Strong data literacy: able to query and interpret data, create dashboards, and derive actionable insights from tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, or Tableau.
- Deep understanding of mobile app retention and engagement mechanics, including behavioral triggers, cohort segmentation, and in-app monetization models.
- Proficient with HTML for messaging templates and troubleshooting cross-device layout issues.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and executional detail.
- Excellent client communication skills and confidence leading client workshops, meetings, and audits.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to mobile-specific use cases such as freemium/subscription models, churn prediction, or feature-led engagement.
- Familiarity with experimentation design and testing platforms.
- Experience working in agile squads or cross-functional pods.
- Experience with ASO and performance marketing.
