What You’ll Do
- Develop and refine distributed systems that support high-volume ecommerce workflows
- Implement patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, and idempotency to improve system resilience
- Enhance monitoring and diagnostics to speed incident resolution and increase deployment reliability
- Design event-driven architectures using messaging platforms to decouple services and improve scalability
- Define clear technical standards that reduce ambiguity and help teams move efficiently
- Mentor engineers across the organization, sharing knowledge and raising technical standards
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience building service-oriented, distributed applications
- Strong background in .NET, SQL, and JavaScript with proven full-stack delivery
- Hands-on experience with event messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable tools
- Track record of designing secure, scalable APIs and services built for long-term maintenance
- Experience working in Kubernetes environments with CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ecommerce, supply chain, warehouse management, or financial transaction systems
- Familiarity with DBT, Dagster (Python), Postgres, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives with limited supervision
