About the Role
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications for investment platforms using Python on the backend and React or Vue on the frontend. The engineer will work closely with product teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Python and related frameworks
- Develop responsive user interfaces with React or Vue.js
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Ensure data security and compliance standards are met
- Integrate with third-party financial data providers
- Maintain documentation for systems and workflows
- Support deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Work with relational and non-relational databases
- Follow agile development methodologies
- Ensure frontend and backend components are well-integrated
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge
