Shape the foundation of a high-impact frontend platform by building systems that enable product teams to deliver features efficiently and reliably. In this role, you’ll architect and maintain core frontend infrastructure, focusing on scalability, performance, and developer experience across a widely used SaaS platform.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain shared frontend frameworks, libraries, and tooling used across multiple product teams
- Develop resilient systems using React, TypeScript, and Webpack, with a focus on long-term maintainability
- Build and optimize real-time data delivery mechanisms between servers and clients
- Lead architectural discussions and guide frontend platform strategy across engineering
- Establish best practices that elevate code quality, testing, and performance standards
- Own end-to-end delivery of platform initiatives—from concept through deployment and monitoring
- Support smooth, large-scale migrations, including dependency updates and architectural shifts
- Collaborate with product engineers, designers, and infrastructure teams to solve complex challenges
- Improve CI/CD workflows and automation for frontend packages and applications
- Champion observability, reliability, and incident response for critical platform services
Who You Are
- Have 6+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in modern frontend technologies
- Are proficient in React, TypeScript, and Webpack, including advanced topics like tree-shaking, code-splitting, and dependency management
- Have built or maintained shared frontend platforms used across multiple teams or products
- Have managed package ecosystems—handling versioning, compatibility, and upgrades at scale
- Can debug complex, cross-cutting issues across build systems, runtime behavior, and deployment pipelines
- Are experienced in real-time data systems, module federation, or similar micro-frontend patterns
- Are skilled at mentoring, unblocking teams, and improving developer workflows
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Experience
- Background in developer experience (DevEx), internal tools, or platform engineering
- Hands-on work with micro-frontend architectures and module federation
- Authoring and maintaining shared packages—such as utilities, linting rules, or API clients
- Familiarity with RTK Query, Storybook, or analytics and feature flagging systems
- Experience with Server-Sent Events (SSE), CI integrations, or custom ESLint plugins

Compensation & Work Model
Compensation is tiered based on experience: Tier 1 ($224,400–$271,920), Tier 2 ($205,700–$249,260), Tier 3 ($187,000–$226,600). Equity awards and bonus eligibility included. This role is remote within the U.S., with occasional travel for team events or collaboration.
