Solakon GmbH is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is a technical powerhouse and clear technical leader. You will solve complex problems, ship features efficiently, write clean code, and elevate the entire frontend codebase.
What You'll Do
- Solve complex technical and product challenges for our users.
- Ship high-quality features and improvements quickly and reliably.
- Write clean, maintainable code that sets a standard for the team.
- Elevate the overall quality, performance, and architecture of the codebase.
- Lead technically by example and through collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Senior Frontend Engineer (or equivalent senior-level) experience.
- Expertise in TypeScript.
- Strong professional experience with React.
- Hands-on production experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Experience building and maintaining Storybook component libraries.
- Unit testing experience with Jest or Vitest and React Testing Library.
- GraphQL experience (e.g., Apollo or Relay) for data-driven UIs.
- Proficient in client-side JavaScript, modern frameworks, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Git and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (Vite, Webpack, Babel) and package managers (npm/yarn/pnpm).
- Experience with end-to-end testing (Playwright or Cypress).
- A strong appreciation for clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Experience with performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and responsive design.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
