Spruce is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as a key technical point of contact for our customers. You will be responsible for the on-site implementation, customization, and optimization of our platform to meet specific client needs.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement, integrate, and customize the Spruce platform within client environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during deployment and post-launch.
- Act as a bridge between the customer and internal engineering/product teams, conveying feedback and feature requests.
- Develop tools, scripts, and documentation to streamline the deployment process and improve client self-service.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Consultant.
- Proven ability to architect, deploy, and debug complex software systems in production.
- Strong programming skills with experience in scripting and automation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements.
