AECOM is hiring a Senior Fluvial Geomorphologist

Responsibilities

  • Applying scientific methods and technical knowledge to resolve narrowly defined challenges
  • Gathering and inputting data while applying established technical frameworks
  • Evaluating and documenting data through analysis, comparing results with applicable regulations and prior research to confirm adherence
  • Leading stream restoration initiatives using Natural Channel Design principles, including assessments of current and planned conditions to guide improvements and design decisions
  • Performing in-depth field studies and evaluations, including analysis of sediment movement and erosion potential
  • Examining and assessing geomorphic and hydraulic datasets
  • Preparing and evaluating technical documentation
  • Working collaboratively across Canadian offices and disciplines, engaging in client and stakeholder meetings
