GE HealthCare is hiring a Senior FLIGHT DECK Leader - GE Programs, Commercial Engines and Services

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product line teams across Commercial Engine Services to evaluate value streams, workflows, and practices against internal and external lean benchmarks.
  • Support the creation and rollout of standardized work processes within the GE Programs Product Line.
  • Guide process consistency and enhancements across GE Programs, aligning all efforts to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash metrics.
  • Establish value stream alignment in product lines using kaizen calendars, leading and coaching teams to map information flows and system interactions to identify inefficiencies and build action plans that increase value-added work and reduce lead times.
  • Lead by influence to help teams implement daily, weekly, and monthly operational systems with strong escalation protocols.
  • Develop leaders across the business to act as FLIGHT DECK coaches and practitioners, enabling sustained incremental and breakthrough improvements year over year.
  • Support the creation of standards, tools, and templates to build an efficient FLIGHT DECK Transformation Office for Commercial Engine Services.
  • Improve Aerospace FLIGHT DECK Operations standards to ensure content is relevant and understandable for all team members.
  • Coach teams in the rollout and application of standards, tools, and methodologies within a product line.
  • Lead and promote FLIGHT DECK behaviors, principles, and tools across the Commercial Engine Services GE Programs organization.
  • Drive cultural change that results in significant improvements in operational performance.
  • Lead and supervise Kaizen events to deliver process enhancements and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash outcomes.
  • Train organizational leaders in FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and management systems to improve customer and shareholder results.
  • Use data analysis to detect trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and FLIGHT DECK thinking within the GE Programs Product Line.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure high performance.
  • Deliver FLIGHT DECK training in collaboration with the CES Transformation Office to deploy core principles across all organizational levels.
  • Define, create, and publish business process improvement standards that reflect industry best practices.
