The Senior Financial Analyst (Data) will play a key role in maintaining accurate and reliable financial data across the organization through the management of the Strata cost accounting platform. This position ensures data integrity by conducting routine evaluations, validating key performance indicators, and implementing system improvements in coordination with IT and analytics partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with finance and analytics teams to refine data processes and enhance reporting accuracy
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of data within the Strata system across all facilities
- Conduct daily and weekly reviews of financial metrics and trends
- Document changes to data models, system configurations, and workflow procedures
- Support database upkeep, issue resolution, and system troubleshooting
- Test and deploy updates, patches, and enhancements to the Strata platform
- Develop and manage comprehensive technical and user-facing documentation
- Partner with technology teams to investigate and resolve data-related inquiries
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Experience with Strata/EPSi, EPIC, or Lawson systems is advantageous. Familiarity with cost accounting principles, healthcare operations, or SQL databases is preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid environment with four days per week on-site and one day remote, contributing to a culture built on respect, inclusion, and continuous learning.
