Responsibilities
- Ensure all expenses are correctly assigned to jobs, departments, and categories, removing any unallocated or misclassified spending.
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, from creation to reconciliation, to support accurate revenue, cost of goods sold, and gross profit reporting by brand, department, and job.
- Align financial data across field service software, accounting platform, and CRM to identify discrepancies before they impact financial statements.
- Generate reliable and timely commission reports that can be clearly defended during technician disputes.
- Assist in developing and managing budgets and expense forecasts across multiple brands and legal entities.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs, and regular reporting cycles, including weekly and monthly summaries for leadership.
- Maintain clean CRM data through standardized tagging, deduplication, and accurate tracking of sales pipeline and job statuses.
- Establish and document data governance rules to preserve data quality as the organization scales with new locations and staff.
- Proactively identify declining margins, rising costs, pricing issues, and abnormal job performance, then investigate and report findings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, or business operations, with exposure to both general ledger and operational data systems.
- Proven experience in job costing, with a clear understanding of how misallocated expenses distort margin reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, nested formulas, and structured modeling; subject to skills testing.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, particularly class and location tracking in multi-entity setups.
- Experience using a CRM or field service platform, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, required for weekly U.S. team meetings and documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, combined with the ability to prioritize meaningful discrepancies.
- Capable of clearly and directly raising concerns with individuals outside your reporting line.
- Self-motivated and able to independently complete and refine existing systems.
- Available to work during overlapping hours with U.S. Eastern time for daily coordination.

- Experience with SQL or prior work supporting U.S.-based trade, construction, or home services businesses is a strong plus.
