Truelogic Software is hiring a Senior Enterprise Data Architect - Biotechnology

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead a team of data architects and engineers in the development and implementation of data solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into existing systems.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data architecture.
  • Participate in the development of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Implement data migration strategies and ensure data integrity during transitions.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions using ETL tools.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
  • Ensure scalability and performance of data solutions to meet business needs.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of data architecture to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
  • Document data architecture designs, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in the development of data strategy and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to select and implement data solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of data architecture with overall business objectives and strategies.
  • Conduct training and workshops for team members on data architecture best practices.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with biotechnology or healthcare industry data solutions.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics.
  • Experience with data governance tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or CCPA.
  • Experience with data lineage and metadata management tools.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or Visio.
