GameChanger is hiring a Senior Engineering Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance the engineering team's operational calendar, including planning phases, leadership check-ins, retrospectives, and budget workflows, with consistent standards across the organization.
  • Act as the primary operational collaborator to the VP of Engineering, converting strategic goals into structured processes, decision points, and documentation.
  • Drive accountability and execution follow-through without relying on daily executive oversight.
  • Develop and refine engineering reports and presentations for executive and board-level audiences, ensuring data-backed narratives and consistency.
  • Serve as the central owner of engineering operations, maintaining visibility into commitments, action items, and follow-up timelines with proper context and urgency.
  • Build and iterate automated and AI-assisted workflows for meeting notes, summaries, status updates, and decision tracking to minimize manual coordination and support growth.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Finance teams to align on planning, execution, and communication practices.
  • Track and assess organizational health, identifying recurring trends, risks, and operational blockers, then communicate findings to engineering leadership.
  • Travel quarterly to the New York headquarters for strategic planning, leadership alignment, and team meetings.
