About the Role
Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Guide the development and execution of engineering strategies aligned with product goals
- Mentor and grow engineering leaders through coaching and career development
- Oversee the delivery of scalable, reliable software systems on time and with quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product and design
- Establish engineering best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
- Drive technical decision-making across teams and architectural directions
- Recruit, hire, and retain top-tier engineering talent
- Promote a culture of psychological safety, inclusion, and high performance
- Manage team structures and organizational design as the team scales
- Evaluate and improve engineering processes and development workflows
- Support incident response and system reliability initiatives
- Ensure alignment between engineering efforts and business objectives
- Facilitate agile rituals and improve team velocity and predictability
- Champion engineering tools and infrastructure improvements
- Foster innovation through hackathons, tech spikes, and R&D time
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in data platform or data infrastructure companies
- Background in SaaS or enterprise software products
- Prior leadership in remote-first or global engineering teams
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata, or data discovery tools
