Responsibilities
- Architect and build routing capabilities supporting both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols
- Develop and sustain static routing implementations
- Develop and sustain policy-based routing (PBR) functionality
- Develop and sustain Multi-WAN configurations, including failover and load distribution
- Develop and sustain dynamic routing protocols as required
- Implement and manage DHCP client, server, and relay functions for WAN connectivity
- Implement and manage PPPoE for broadband access
- Implement and manage Network Address Translation (NAT) and Network Address Port Translation (NAPT)
- Coordinate routing logic with firewall rules and security policies
- Implement and maintain dual WAN support for redundancy
- Monitor outbound link health for high availability
- Design and maintain automated failover mechanisms
- Optimize recovery procedures and system stability under failure conditions
- Enhance system performance and scalability across network loads
- Integrate routing features with platform services, user interfaces, and cloud management systems
