Key Responsibilities
- Direct transportation projects, maintaining high standards for quality, schedule, and financial performance
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with transportation agencies, municipalities, and private clients
- Support regional business growth by identifying opportunities and converting leads into secured work
- Lead proposal development, including strategy, scoping, and contract discussions
- Collaborate with pursuit teams during premarketing, interviews, and negotiation phases
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert
- Represent the firm at industry events, professional associations, and networking forums
- Mentor emerging project managers in client engagement and business development practices

Qualifications
Candidates must bring demonstrated experience in managing transportation design projects and leading client-facing teams. A strong history of delivering work on time and within budget is essential. You should have an established network within transportation agencies such as CDOT, UDOT, or municipal entities, and a proven ability to generate new business through relationships and strategic outreach.
Experience in proposal leadership, go/no-go assessments, and contract scoping is required. A commitment to mentoring staff and fostering team development is expected.
