About the Role
The position involves leading the development and integration of plant design solutions, coordinating across engineering disciplines, and ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in plant design
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation for complex power systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with project goals
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and regulatory requirements
- Support project execution from concept through detailed design phases
- Perform technical reviews and design validations
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to clarify design requirements
- Identify and mitigate technical risks during design development
- Optimize system performance through modeling and simulation
- Guide junior engineers in design best practices
- Participate in design configuration management processes
- Maintain consistency across engineering deliverables
- Troubleshoot design issues across project lifecycle
- Apply industry standards to system integration tasks
- Support procurement and construction readiness activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows
- Use digital engineering tools to enhance design accuracy
- Ensure traceability of design decisions
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors
- Drive adherence to project schedules and technical specifications
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with combined cycle or gas turbine plants
- Familiarity with digital twin or simulation tools
- Experience in global project teams
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards
- Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
