Shape the future of high-definition mapping by leading end-to-end implementation across a global software platform. In this role, you'll take ownership of HD map integration, driving how map data is structured, stored, and utilized across products. You'll define the technical foundation for map storage formats with a focus on scalability, supporting both internal systems and customer-facing tools.
What You’ll Do
- Own the architecture and delivery of HD map features across the product suite
- Design and evolve map data formats to support expanding use cases in visualization, inspection, and simulation
- Build and refine data pipelines that process and distribute map information efficiently
- Work closely with engineering teams and external customers to align on technical requirements and implementation
- Support SDKs and UI components that interact with map data, ensuring performance and reliability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience developing software systems for real-world mapping or localization applications
- At least two years in autonomous vehicle technology or simulation platforms
- Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python
- Familiarity with HD map data structures, storage solutions, and data distribution workflows
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers an annual base salary ranging from $153,000 to $222,000 USD, complemented by equity in the form of stock options or restricted stock units. Work Environment
This is an onsite role with offices in Sunnyvale, San Diego, Ft. Walton Beach, Ann Arbor, Washington D.C., London, Stuttgart, Munich, Stockholm, Bangalore, Seoul, and Tokyo. Employees are expected to be in the office five days per week, though limited flexibility allows for occasional remote work to support personal needs.
