AECOM is hiring a Senior Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering projects by applying knowledge of design standards, construction methods, regulations, zoning, and applicable codes.
  • Review technical engineering details to support accurate and timely project execution.
  • Ensure construction adheres to the original design intent and resolve design-related issues on site.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate client-driven changes while maintaining project alignment.
  • Support project leadership in evaluating and approving materials and equipment per approved submittals.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing engineering documentation and correspondence.
  • Identify and document construction or engineering deviations by issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Participate in coordination meetings to resolve field issues such as drawing inconsistencies and technical conflicts.
  • Engage in final inspections and handover processes to verify work meets quality and contractual requirements.
  • Provide specialized technical guidance to the Resident Engineer for seamless project delivery.
  • Work with design engineers to integrate design updates during construction phases.
  • Deliver daily field reports summarizing progress, challenges, and site observations to project leadership.
  • Accelerate client review and approval cycles to avoid schedule disruptions.
