As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping hardware solutions for 32-bit Automotive Microcontrollers within the Automotive Digital Products Marketing Division. Based in Düsseldorf, you will work closely with development teams to define and refine hardware specifications based on market and customer needs, ensuring alignment with future product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and documentation of hardware requirements for next-generation microcontroller products
- Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to develop integrated hardware-software solution offerings
- Act as a technical liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers
- Support product planning and contribute to new product definitions based on market feedback
- Develop technical documentation, including application notes, training materials, and marketing collaterals
- Coordinate technical exchanges with headquarters to ensure global alignment
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of experience in embedded systems. A solid understanding of microcontroller architectures—particularly ARM-based platforms—is essential. Proficiency in C and C++ programming is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional environments.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage. A valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country is mandatory.
