Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage full lifecycle operations for clusters and applications
- Collaborate with clients to design, develop, and deploy containerized solutions using Kubernetes or Docker across cloud and on-premise environments
- Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Implement GitOps practices to streamline and secure software deployment workflows
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in related technical fields
- At least 3 years working with Docker and Kubernetes, including setting up production-grade clusters and ensuring compliance standards
- Hands-on experience developing and managing data-heavy platforms using streaming technologies such as Kafka, Pinot, or Flink
- Proven background in data management systems, including ETL processes, data governance, and storage solutions
- Experience working with AWS or other major cloud platforms
- Demonstrated ability in building, deploying, and automating release and orchestration systems
- Familiarity with monitoring Kubernetes environments using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and logging with Fluentbit, Kibana, or Loki
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners
- Willingness and ability to obtain Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment
Nice to Have
- Current Secret or Top Secret clearance with eligibility to maintain TS/SCI
- Strong working knowledge of Helm Charts for Kubernetes package management
- Experience using multiple dependency and package managers such as Maven, Gradle, NPM, and Yarn
- Understanding of Istio service mesh for microservices communication
- Background supporting enterprise-level cloud applications or infrastructure
- Programming experience in automation languages such as Python or Go
- Skilled in setting up and troubleshooting complex CI/CD systems
