Responsibilities
- Support the planning and structural design of embedded systems
- Develop and maintain user interface components for embedded applications
- Design and manage communication interfaces between system components
- Integrate embedded software with broader system functions
- Create and maintain interfaces between firmware and hardware elements
- Collaborate on the integration of hardware components into system designs
- Build diagnostic tools and utilities to support system analysis and troubleshooting
- Develop test systems to verify functional requirements
- Produce software for product installation and deployment
- Implement firmware based on finalized design specifications
- Define, develop, and document system requirements and technical specifications
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns
- Conduct application testing in lab and real-world field environments
- Record and maintain detailed documentation of test outcomes
- Support product commissioning activities across various platforms

- Daily responsibilities include office, lab, and desk-based tasks, with periodic field testing
- Some roles may involve infrequent underground work
