Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the distribution engineering team, from handling service requests to delivering projects on schedule
- Prepare detailed design packages including project scope, timelines, and resource estimates
- Solve design and field challenges through independent analysis, using sound judgment to interpret data and recommend safe, effective engineering solutions
- Ensure high-quality client service by engaging stakeholders, defining service scope, setting design criteria, reviewing technical documents, and monitoring progress to meet safety, quality, budget, and timeline goals
- Offer advanced technical knowledge in electrical distribution systems while mentoring junior staff, setting performance benchmarks, and shaping team standards and objectives
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, procedures, and standards through innovative and practical improvements
- Design overhead line structures and related infrastructure for utility systems up to 35kV, including supports, foundations, termination points, manholes, vaults, and duct banks
