Responsibilities
- Manage a team of software engineering and informatics specialists focused on research support.
- Establish and execute the strategic vision for research data systems, covering cloud and on-premises computing, SaaS platforms, data integration, transformation, visualization, and software tooling.
- Work closely with research teams to understand informatics needs, convert them into technical roadmaps, and deploy effective solutions.
- Supervise deployment, tuning, and ongoing support of scientific platforms such as Benchling, Genedata Screener, Cenevo Mosaic, Certara D360, Revvity Signals, or CDD.
- Lead in-house development of data pipelines, APIs, web applications, and automated research workflows.
- Enforce strong data governance, ensuring alignment with internal policies and industry best practices.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and partners engaged in software or data projects.
- Create and manage project timelines, monitor progress, and communicate updates to leadership and cross-functional partners.
