About the Role
This position leads the development and execution of medical engagement strategies and real-world evidence initiatives to support the value proposition of therapeutic products. The role drives integration of medical insights, health economics, and outcomes research to inform portfolio decisions and stakeholder communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of medical engagement strategies aligned with product lifecycle goals
- Develop evidence generation plans to support value messaging across therapies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate medical insights into strategic planning
- Guide the development of health economics and outcomes research initiatives
- Translate clinical data into compelling value narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Oversee the alignment of medical strategies with regulatory and market access requirements
- Identify key evidence gaps and prioritize research to address them
- Manage external partnerships to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities
- Ensure scientific rigor and compliance in all medical communications
- Lead portfolio-level medical strategy discussions with senior leadership
- Foster collaboration between medical affairs, commercial, and R&D functions
- Evaluate emerging data sources and methodologies to improve evidence generation
- Support lifecycle management through strategic medical input
- Drive consistency in medical messaging across therapeutic areas
- Monitor competitive landscape and evolving standards of care
- Advise on pricing and reimbursement strategies based on clinical and economic data
- Ensure alignment of medical strategies with global and regional needs
- Champion patient-centered outcomes in research and engagement plans
- Oversee the development of tools and platforms to disseminate medical insights
- Mentor and develop high-performing medical strategy teams
- Promote a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making
- Respond to evolving healthcare environments with agile strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards
