Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and delivery of high-speed electronic trading platforms, with emphasis on Smart Order Routers, Matching Engines, Market Access, and Risk Management systems.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to interpret business objectives and convert them into actionable technical specifications.
- Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for electronic trading, aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory standards.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through deployment and ongoing system maintenance.
- Ensure trading infrastructure is scalable, high-performing, and resilient by applying advanced software engineering and architectural principles.
- Perform code, unit test, and integration test reviews to uphold rigorous quality standards in software releases.
- Improve system efficiency using kernel-level optimization and low-level programming techniques.
- Lead and develop a team of software engineers, promoting innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Monitor advancements in financial technology, emerging tools, and regulatory updates to maintain platform competitiveness and compliance.
Compensation
Base salary is determined by role, experience, skills, and location. Eligible positions may include commission and/or discretionary incentives in cash or forfeitable equity.
