About the Role
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions to support scalable and secure mortgage processing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage automated deployment workflows
- Maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar platforms
- Implement monitoring and alerting for production systems
- Support containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Ensure infrastructure as code practices using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Optimize system performance and reliability
- Collaborate with development teams on environment configuration
- Enforce security standards across deployment pipelines
- Troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems
- Manage version control and branching strategies
- Integrate testing into continuous integration pipelines
- Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes
- Support compliance with financial industry regulations
- Automate routine operational tasks
- Participate in on-call incident response rotations
- Evaluate and adopt new DevOps tools and technologies
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
- Monitor resource utilization and cloud costs
- Implement identity and access management policies
- Work with microservices-based application architectures
- Support secure software development lifecycle practices
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across time zones
- Drive improvements in system observability
- Manage secrets and configuration securely
- Contribute to post-mortem analyses after incidents
Nice to Have
- Certification in AWS, Kubernetes, or related technologies
- Experience in mortgage or financial lending systems
- Exposure to serverless architectures
- Knowledge of HashiCorp tool suite
- Background in incident response and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like SOX or PCI
