About the Role
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support a high-performance mortgage technology platform. This role requires strong automation skills, cloud expertise, and the ability to ensure system reliability and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using industry best practices
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and safer deployments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows
- Maintain secure and compliant cloud environments
- Enforce infrastructure as code principles across projects
- Support containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle
- Manage cloud costs and optimize resource usage
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations
- Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies
- Assist in migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
- Ensure logging and alerting systems are effective and actionable
- Work closely with QA teams to streamline testing environments
- Improve deployment frequency and reduce rollback incidents
- Support compliance requirements through automated checks
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Troubleshoot network and system-level issues in distributed environments
- Maintain version control and branching strategies for large codebases
- Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities
- Drive adoption of monitoring and observability tools
