Responsibilities
- Design and enhance cloud infrastructure on AWS, Kubernetes, and EKS to support multiple product and engineering teams
- Identify and resolve complex production issues, applying critical thinking where standard procedures may not exist
- Lead infrastructure initiatives from concept to completion, including planning, architecture, and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and product groups to define standards for infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and operational practices
- Act as a trusted advisor for deployment approaches and infrastructure choices across teams
- Proactively oversee system performance, security controls, secret management, access policies, and monitoring to prevent disruptions
