About the Role
The role involves building and managing scalable cloud systems using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, ensuring system uptime, and collaborating with development and operations teams to improve performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Platform
- Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources
- Maintain high availability and performance of production systems
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud environments
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency
- Support incident response and on-call operations
- Document architecture and operational procedures
- Integrate infrastructure as code practices across projects
- Manage identity and access controls in cloud environments
- Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
- Lead improvements in deployment reliability and speed
- Work with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud strategies where applicable
- Drive automation of repetitive operational tasks
- Participate in system design reviews and technical planning
- Ensure disaster recovery and backup procedures are effective
- Stay current with cloud technology developments and best practices
Nice to Have
