Responsibilities
- Design and manage production-level Kubernetes platforms with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Develop and sustain Kubernetes workloads, configuration manifests, Helm charts, Kustomize configurations, and deployment strategies.
- Implement and maintain GitOps practices using tools such as Flux or Argo CD.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, secure, and repeatable software delivery.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve live issues affecting Kubernetes, networking, compute, storage, or applications.
- Create automation scripts and tools for infrastructure setup, deployments, monitoring, and incident handling.
- Support cloud operations across AWS, GCP, Windows-based systems, or hybrid setups.
- Administer Kubernetes networking components including ingress, service mesh, DNS, TLS, secrets, and workload identity.
- Enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with security teams to strengthen container, cluster, secrets, and software supply chain protections.
- Guide development teams in adopting Kubernetes, DevOps, GitOps, and production support best practices.
