Responsibilities
- Create and deploy resilient, scalable infrastructure and continuous integration pipelines using tools aligned with product and reliability objectives.
- Ensure service reliability by managing operational performance, defining service level indicators, reducing incident resolution time, and maintaining on-call protocols.
- Lead enhancements in build systems, container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and deployment tooling, incorporating open-source or third-party solutions when suitable.
- Work closely with development, quality assurance, product, and security teams to synchronize delivery processes with product timelines while balancing speed, quality, and risk.
- Promote and implement secure configurations by default, manage secrets effectively, automate compliance checks, and enforce testing standards throughout the software lifecycle.
- Advance team efficiency by reducing manual work, increasing developer output, improving system observability, and sharing knowledge through documentation and mentorship.
