About the Role
The role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage cloud-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles
- Improve system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Automate deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery and reduce errors
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into workflows
- Maintain secure configurations across cloud environments and enforce compliance standards
- Troubleshoot complex system issues across distributed services and networks
- Optimize resource usage and cloud spending through performance analysis
- Implement and manage containerized workloads using orchestration platforms
- Support incident management and contribute to post-mortem reviews
- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive operational tasks
- Ensure systems meet security, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Manage version control and configuration management systems
- Integrate observability tools for logs, metrics, and tracing
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve platform capabilities
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Work with stakeholders to define scalability and availability goals
- Enforce consistent environments across development, staging, and production
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing
- Promote a culture of shared ownership for system health and performance
